Frost is one of the few banks that didn't get caught up in the whole "let's treat our customers like jerks" phase. We thought that was important to mention.

I sat in a room for 6 hours and pushed every possible button there was to push on Chase Bank's automated phone service. Then used it against them.

Then we cut out words straight from the headlines of various financial papers for a few weeks to remind people that if they didn't like their bank's practices, they didn't have to fund them.

We also turned print ads into resignation letters, making it very easy for people to break up with their big banks and switch to Frost.

Then we told big banks a better way of doing business, using their own taglines as a friendly reminder.
